About

Cassidy Holland

Alternative Healer and Holistic Health Coach

I help men and women cultivate harmony throughout their mind, body and soul.

My Wellness Philosophy

I believe that health is reflective of nature: A garden takes time to cultivate. Weeds must be pulled and seeds must be sown. Soils must be deeply nourished with sunlight, minerals and hydration, as these are all necessary for growth. If not planted with patience and care, the garden will develop on its own accord and become wild.

With our hands and our hearts,
we can all cultivate a thriving sanctuary
that we are proud to embody.

A Bit About Myself

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, but consider myself a citizen of the world as much as I consider myself Canadian.

A few years ago I had decided to make the biggest decision of my life: quit my job and travel the world.

When I decided to start travelling I was crippled with anxiety and could barely follow directions on a GPS, so naturally everyone was pretty shocked when I said I was going to backpack through Costa Rica and China for six weeks on my own. As outward as it seemed, I had solidly made the decision. However, I had no idea how I was going to make it happen. All I knew is that my soul was calling for something that was far outside my comfort zone.

Climbing on the airplane I was sweaty palmed and clenching my beat up copy of “Feel the fear and do it anyway” by Susan Jeffers. I had no plan in place, just a backpack and an intention: let my soul guide me to where I need to go.

Little did I know… the people and places I would come to know would have a significant impact on my life and the direction of its course.

My journey invoked a deeply seeded call to help others. My intention is to use all of the tools and resources I have available to help support others on their wellness journey, while continuing to gain hands on skills surrounding natural healing and energy alchemy. My long-term intention is to open a holistic wellness clinic and host restorative retreats deep in the Canadian wilderness.

My Personal Practice

Alternative Healing | Holistic Health

The mind-body-spirit connection has always fascinated me. Everything that is, ever was, and will ever be, comes from the same source: Energy.

We are energetic beings in physical bodies… basically conscious clusters of chemical reactions. I believe that by tuning into the subtle energy that flows within and throughout us all, we can reconnect with our true nature and unleash our inner force.

It’s time to focus energy where it matters most… in the seeds of our soul, and the roots of our planet.

Qualifications

Institute for Integrative Nutrition

I am currently a student at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition! I enrolled at IIN so that I could deepen my understanding about healing the body through nutrition and conscious lifestyle adjustments. Being a part of this program will enrich my holistic coaching practice and provide me with tools that will support my clients in transforming their health.

Alternative Healing

Working as an Environmental Aid in a hospital sparked my passion for complementary therapy. The beautiful souls I met helped me to understand what truly matters at the end of life and how to grasp the present moment. This helped me to develop an aesthetic approach to health care. I am trained in Reiki, and use a combination of bodywork and herbal remedies to support my clients.

Recreational Therapy

I completed one year of Recreation Therapy at Mohawk College in Canada. This program taught me how to encourage independence and personal empowerment through recreation. I learned the therapeutic power of simply enjoying our lives. Playfulness is the essence of creation, and recreation is just that: re-creation.

My journey was led by faith.
